Into the Ocean!

Into the Ocean! is the second in a series of four adventure books for children.

In the series, a child prepares for bed and then goes on adventures. In Into the Ocean, the child, guardian and their dog travel the ocean in a boat called a zoomfloomery to go scuba diving. On their way down to the ocean floor, they see plankton and fishes and meet a giant red octopus washing his dishes. They also hear music being played by the king crab quartet. They meet Audrey, an anemone artist. Audrey and the child get stuck, and the wet suit zipper breaks. A whale guides them to visit the haberdasher to fix it.

On their way home, they see a sea otter stuck in thick plastic muck and they rescue him, taking him to the aquarium to get well. They land safely in bed and make wishes before sleep, and the characters for the next adventure are on the last page of the book inviting the readers into their next adventure.
